Анотація

У статті аналізуються особливості реалізації категорії теперішності безособовими формами дієслова. Здатність інфінітива, герундія, дієприкметника І у конкретному висловлюванні відносити дію до теперішності виявляється найчіткіше за умов реалізації значення одночасності дії, переданої безособовою формою дієслова, з дією присудка, вираженою Present Simple або Present Continuous, а також від семантичних, лексичних і граматичних умов контексту.
(The article deals with some specific ways of referring an action to the presence by means of the Verbals. The Infinitive, Participle I and Gerund do not have the Category of Tense but they render the temporal meaning through the temporal correlation of the actions denoted by them with those, expressed by the finite forms of the verbs.
The article points out the peculiarities of realizing the objective presence by the Infinitive, Gerund and Participle I expressing simultaneous, preceding and following actions with those defined by the predicates of the sentences depending on the different syntactic positions of the Verbals as well as on the semantic, lexical and grammatical conditions of the context.)
