At the beginning of 2016 the Orthodox Church in America has 14 dioceses, 700 parishes, 28 monasteries, 13 bishops and more than a thousand priests. Training of staff is provided by the three seminaries: St. Hermanivska, St. Tikhon’s and St. Volodymyr’s. Each of them is now an Orthodox spiritual institution to prepare future clergies. The most notable among them is St. Vladimir’s Seminary (New York). It has developed and operates a clear system of rules and regulations of the educational process. In particular, future clergies take part in religious services in the church of the Three Hierarchs. St. Volodymyr’s seminary is famous for its teaching staff. The world famous of them are Verhovsky S., J. Meyendorff, P. Florovsky and O.Shmeman. The exactingness to the students and the high level of educational process, provides the great authority for this educational institution not only in America but also abroad.)
