Анотація
Стаття присвячена дослідженню реалізації текстової категорії хронотопа у британському полікодовому художньому тексті початку XXI століття. Зазначено особливості реалізації субкатегорій хронотопа темпоральності і локальності на вербальному та іконічному рівнях.
(The article is devoted to the analysis of semiotic nature of a multisemiotic fictional text and the means of implementing a textual category of chronotope. The texts of British literature of the beginning of the XXI century served the material for analysis.
A multisemiotic text is characterized by greater efficiency in data transmission compared to a purely verbal text due to the use of various channels of information transmission and their flexible structure. While interacting, verbal and iconic means
provide integrity, coherence of the text and form its communicative effect. The peculiarities of implementing the subcategories of chronotope – locality and temporality, have been highlighted.
The analysis of а multisemiotic text demonstrates that the combination and mutual integration of elements of different semiotic systems is it’s inherent property and it confirms the fact that multisemiotic text components appear as a single structural and semantic unit, aimed at pragmatic effect on the recipient.)
