Анотація

У статті розглянуто проблему екологічної кризи ХХ – ХХІ ст., виокремлено її основні причини та можливі наслідки. Зокрема, досліджено вчення папи Бенедикта XVI на предмет подолання екологічної кризи та усунення її основних причин виникнення. Проаналізовано бачення папою екологічної ситуації сьогодення в контексті глобальних загроз для людства.
(In the article consider the problem of ecological crisis XX – XXI centuries, distinguishes its main causes and possible consequences and examines the main ways to overcome it. Researched doctrine of Pope Benedict XVI on the subject of environmental protection and addressing the threats of environmental disaster from Christian positions. We analyzed of Pope vision of the environmental situation in the context of today’s global threats to humanity. Researched doctrine of Pope Benedict XVI from the position of environmental issues in the modern world, the author concludes that his ecological doctrine is basically anthropocentric. As Pope encourages people to preserve the environment not to the
nature but to the humans. He warned humanity from excessive the use of natural resources for two reasons: First, for the life and health of man himself, because consumer attitude towards nature has devastating consequences and even is a threat to to humanity; secondly, the earth and all of creation was created for all ages and peoples and Humanity must take care of nature and preserve it for future generations.)
