Abstract

У статті досліджено процес ліквідації римо-католицького парафіяльного шкільництва на Волині після приєднання цього регіону до складу Російської імперії у результаті трьох поділів Речі Посполитої (кінець XVIII – середина ХІХ століття). Особлива увага приділена окремим аспектам існування духовних семінарій на Волині у зазначений період. (Having done the analysis of the impact of the Roman-Catholic church on educational development of the Volhyn territory the author makes the conclusion that the church and cloister schools were abolished by Russian government during the first part of the 19th century. Special attention has been paid to the Roman-Catholic seminaries situated at the Lutsk-Zhytomyr dioceses)
