Анотація
Стаття присвячена дослідженню тексту як об’єкта вивчення у рамках сучасних гуманітарних наук. Наукова
розвідка має на меті визначити й охарактеризувати головні аспекти дослідження тексту й систематизувати його
визначення у відповідності до них. У зв’язку зі своєю складною багатовимірною сутністю текст вивчається у меж-
ах багатьох наукових підходів, серед яких було визначено структурний, семантичний, комунікативний і семіотичний. У структурному вимірі текст розглядають як структуровану зв’язність, з точки зору семантики – це змістова єдність, яка утворюється у вигляді ієрархічної денотативної системи. Згідно з комунікативним напрямком текст представлений як засіб вербальної комунікації. Семіотична природа тексту зумовлює його знаковий статус, а також визначає його як носія культурної інформації. З урахуванням гетерогенності об’єкта дослідження було наведено приклади маргінальних визначень, які ґрунтуються на декількох аспектах вивчення.
(The article deals with the comprehensive study of text in the scope of modern humanities. This scientific enquiry generally aims to establish and discuss the main aspects of text in the contemporary science and systemize the bulk of definitions to find out the most extensive ones. The concept of text has been thoroughly studied in different branches of philology. However, being a complex entity and due to its manifold nature it has been scrutinized within various scientific paradigms. This article provides an exhaustive investigation of the structural, semantic, communicative, and semiotic approaches towards the text analysis. Text is envisaged as a structural coherent unity in terms of the structural-and-grammatical approach. From the
standpoint of semantic perspective it is treated as a meaningful integrity, which comprises a system of interconnected denotata.
From the point of view of communicative linguistics text is defined as a means of verbal communication and conveying
information. In the domain of semiotics it is represented as a complex sign or an interrelated sequence of signs. Besides, within the semiotic approach text is characterized as a bearer of cultural information, which relates it to lingvoculturology. The major approaches towards the investigation and definition of text have been established, as well as the examples to illustrate them have been provided. It has been revealed that the challenges faced when a proper definition of text is to be formulated
owe to its multi-layered structure and ontological complexity. For this reason linguists employ different approaches to define a text as an object of the interdisciplinary study.)
