Анотація

У статті розглядається лексичне значення слова як складна багатокомпонентна структура, складові якої перебувають у стані тісної взаємодії. Особливу увагу зосереджено на взаємовідношеннях денотативного, сигніфікативного та прагматичного компонентів лексичного значення слова. Визначено місце прагматичного компонента у творенні лексичного значення слова, а також його вплив на формування денотативного та сигніфікативного компонентів.
(The article is aimed at lexical meaning of the word as a complex structure which consists of multiple interacting components.
Due attention is paid to denotative, significative and pragmatic components of the word’s lexical meaning. The article examines the influence of pragmatic component on formation of denotative and significative components of the word’s lexical meaning. The word’s lexical meaning is considered an entity consisting of different interrelated components that help the word nominate phenomena of the objective reality. Each of the components performs its own distinctive function. Denotative component of the word’s lexical meaning is based on denotatum i. e. an actually existing object referred to by a word.
Denotative component is closely interrelated with pragmatic component of the word’s lexical meaning as the latter provides for necessity to nominate actually existing objects. Significative component of the word’s lexical meaning is an abstract representation of the actual object in the human’s mind. The component is based on significatum i. e. semantic content of the word, which includes information characterizing the object designated. Significative component is dependent on pragmatic
component of the word’s lexical meaning as the latter determines the word’s semantics.)
