Анотація

Концепти HEAVY і LIGHT англомовного дискурсу використовуються для вираження зовнішнього і внутрішнього світу людини. В основі ціннісного компоненту цих концептів і оцінної орієнтації суб’єкту знаходяться положення «це добре, тому що важке/легке» і «це погане, тому що важке/легке». Показник норми є мобільним параметром.
(The concepts HEAVY and LIGHT are used in discourse to express both the external and internal worlds of the human being. The adjectives heavy and light show that the person demonstrates either a positive or negative attitude to an object of evaluation. It clearly indicates the subjectivity of the formation of concepts in cEnglish linguistic and cognitive space. When using the concepts HEAVY and LIGHT, the value-based evaluation orientation rests upon the statements «it is good because it is heavy/ light» and «it is bad because it is heavy/light». The cognitive features of the concepts are as follows: a material norm; an ideal norm; arousing interest; having significance; the vector of a weight change – more than a norm (for the concept HEAVY) or less than a norm (for the concept LIGHT). The norm rate is a mobile parameter.)
