Анотація

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the basic characteristics for the regularities of the development of the documentary flow. Analysis of the structure of the documentary flow allows you to detail the search task and criteria for selecting publications, focusing on individual authors, author groups, and organizations. The main regularities of the documentary flow are the de-actualization of information and its compaction, the obsolescence of documents, and the dispersion of documents. The regularities of the development of documentary flows expands the areas of information activity and allows us to assess the trends in the development of the market of information products and services.
