Abstract

Написана на початку 2014 р., ця рефлексія мала на меті окреслити можливі шляхи розвитку подій в Україні після зміни влади. Серед трьох сценаріїв – білорусизаціі, гібридизації і демократизації політичного режиму, демократизація виглядала найбільш бажаним і потенційно можливим сценарієм. Для його реалізації нова українська влада мала би розпочати повне перезавантаження системи. Невиконання цієї умови дає мало шансів на демократичні зміни суспільства, залишаючи його у стані тривалої гібридизації. Цей процес може перерватися лише у разі успішного завершення української революції – її перетворення з політичної на соціальну.
(Written in early 2014., this reflection was intended to outline the possible paths for Ukraine in the wake of regime change. Among the three scenarios – Belarusization, Hybridization and Democratization the latter seemed most desirable and potentially possible. To implement it the new Ukrainian government had to initiate a total reset of the system. Failure to do so gives little chance for democratic change of society, leaving it in a state of corrosive hybridity. This process can be interrupted, however, only in case of successful completion of the Ukrainian revolution - its transformation from the political into the social one).
