Abstract

У статті показано місце українських і польських земель у стратегічних планах ворогуючих блоків. Простежено ставлення урядових кіл Австро-Угорщини напередодні та протягом першого року Великої війни до українського і польського питань. Проаналізовано теоретичні розробки австрійського політикуму щодо розв’язання останніх і доведена ілюзорність їх практичної реалізації. Виокремлена проблема Галичини та москвофільства у тогочасних українсько-польських відносинах.
(The article deals with the place of Ukrainian and Polish lands in the strategic plans of the two opposing alliances. The author considers the attitude of Austro-Hungarian government officials to the Ukrainian and Polish questions before and during the first year of the Great War. It has beenanalyzed the theoretical sketches of Austrian politicians aimed to solve those questions and it has
been proved the illusiveness of its practical implementation. The issues of Halychyna and Moscowphiles
in Ukrainian-Polish bilateral relations of that time have also been described.)
