Анотація
У статті аналізуються терміни першого українськомовного видання Міжнародної ветеринарної анатомічної
номенклатури (Nomina anatomiсa veterinaria) як семантична цілісність, упорядкована лінгвістично, у системі вете-
ринарно-медичних понять. Зокрема, розглянуто й описано структуру утворень термінологічних одиниць, до складу
яких увіходять терміни, що відносяться до кінцівок, а також терміни, які вказують на розташування і напрямок
частин тіла. Терміни топографічної анатомії згруповано за диференційними семами.
(Terminology issues as a component part of general linguistics problematics are seen through the perspective of modern linguistics, since terminological systems are changing and being replenished with new concepts in accordance with changes of scientific knowledge level. Research activity of microsystems’ component elements is being increased by the need of studying the nominations of new concepts.
The article analyzes the terms of the first Ukrainian edition of the International veterinarian anatomical nomenclature (Nomina anatomica veterinaria) as the semantic entity, structured linguistically, in the system of veterinarian-medical definitions.
In particular, we considered and described the formation structure of terminological units which include the terms
related to limbs as well as the terms related to location and orientation of body parts. Terms of topographic anatomy are grouped by differentiated semes.
Terms under analysis enter the syntagmatic relations according to the laws of vocabulary and grammar of the language under study. The tendency towards regularity/irregularity of terminological models formation is being observed. Terminological
units nomination is due to the linear compatibility of linguistic components which form a clear definition in the structure of modern veterinary and medical terms. Quantitative analysis of the terms under study has revealed the most common lexemes grouped by opposite meaning.
For the terms related to NAV, the «performance scale» has been built, characteristic features of terms functioning and their use have been revealed. The specified terms can be used as an index list for establishing the definitions of anatomical terms when making professional dictionaries in veterinary medicine.)
