Анотація
У статті запропоновано розглянути Інтернет чат як прообраз класичного карнавалу, що має специфічні ознаки
та складові. Ефект карнавальності чату обумовлений, у першу чергу, різновидом комунікації – інтерактивною – та
формою комунікації – діалогом між людьми за допомогою комп’ютера. Дослідження було зосереджене на вивченні
феномену карнавалу в розумінні його М. М. Бахтіним. Спираючись на концепцію М.М. Бахтіна, було виділені ознаки карнавальності віртуального спілкування та її структуру.
(The article suggests to consider Internet chat as a prototype of the Medieval carnival, which has its specific characteristics and components. The effect of chat carnival is caused by the kind of communication – interactive – and the form of communication – the dialogue between people by means of computer. The investigation was concerned of studying the
carnival phenomena in Bahtin’s perception, because there are a lot of similar features between the Medieval carnival and virtual carnival. Based on Bahtin’s conception, there were distinguished the characteristics and structure of virtual carnival communication. The main point of semiotic theory carnivalization which was observed by Bahtin, consist in using the term
«carnival» – the annual celebration before Lent to all cultural phenomena of nowadays. At the centre of concept – the idea of «binary oppositions inversion». In contrast to carnival chat has no boundaries, it is not limited by time, because it is always «on that side»of reality. However, if you are user of chat room, as well as carnival participant, you must be fully subordinated
to ideas and laws, but then you begin to live in virtual life, temporarily cutting off the real society. The specific features of Internet communication determine differences between virtual and the Medieval carnival: communication between users by means of computer; users don’t see each other and may be not acquainted with at all; masks(nicks) can be changed at any time; the carnivalization deal with language, its rules, and its parodies which we can take as the language game.)
