Анотація
Статтю присвячено обґрунтуванню релевантної одиниці перекладознавчого аналізу кінотексту піджанру «психологічний трилер» з огляду на її варіативність залежно від мети та завдань наукової розвідки, а також від жанру чи типа тексту. Розглянуто структурні елементи кінотексту на мікросинтаксичному та макросинтаксичному рівнях та запропоновано обрати одиницею аналізу діалог (на лінгвальному рівні), представлений одним завершеним
комунікативним актом, який закладено в межі однієї кінематографічної сцени.
(The unit of translational analysis is an object of numerous scientific discussions, as it grounds on different factors, such as specifics of material, genre or text type. The complex approach of our investigation involves taking into account semiotic nature and genre peculiarities of the film text as well as results in the field of Film Studies.
A brief overview of the up-to-date Audiovisual Translation Studies, made in this article, shows the latest scientific trend to emphasize the urgency of bridging the gap between Translation and Film Studies. Another tendency in modern Ukrainian Linguistics is aiming at standardization of the terminological paradigm of Audiovisual Translation Studies, which is one of the young and developing branches of Translation Studies.
The objectives of this article are: to examine structural elements of the film text from translational point of view; to trace the functioning of the verbal component within these structural elements; to choose a relevant unit of translational analysis of the psychological thriller film text on the linguistic level.
As the central genre-forming element of the thriller film text is suspense, which influences all the contexts of this genre, the major objective of translator is an adequate rendering of suspense within translation. Thus, this paper studies structural elements of the film text considering the actualization of suspense.
The article concludes that the fragment of film text, which is limited by the boundaries of cinematographic scene and
represented by a complete act of communication, and consists of a dialogue (monologue) on linguistic level, is a relevant unit of translational analysis of the psychological thriller film text.)
