Анотація

У статті розглядаються деякі ключові проблеми неології, такі як виявлення способів номінації, визначення поняття «неологізм», узагальнення різних підходів до класифікації неологічної лексики. Визначається, які прийоми є типовими при перекладі новоутворень: транслітерація (транскрипція), калькування, описовий переклад, а також робиться спроба встановити зв’язок між способом утворення неологізму та його перекладом.
(The problems of definition of neologisms being a part of the language picture of the world are dealt with in this article. Neology is looked upon as a part of the common theory of the word which gives possibilities to study the most important tendencies in the development of lexical structure of the language. It is the development of nominative function of the language which extends
and renews the notional part of nominative sphere and changes the methods of nomination. Thus the main attention is paid to the methods of nomination; the term of the neologism is given basing on the main defining criteria to this notion and some different approaches to its classification are illuminated. According to one of them, neologisms are divided into neologisms proper,
transnominations and semantic innovations. It should be specially underlined that neologisms in different contexts may function with various new meanings, that results in the polysemy and creation of new lexico-semantic variants. Considering neologism as a result of removing homonyms it should be bared in mind that some internal language stimuli are in question here. A great deal of neologisms is created with the help of word-building methods. Neologisms are formed with the help of affixation, conversion,
composition, blending, clipping and others. Reproduction of a notion in translation from one language to another is a much more complicated task when it concerns a new term. In that case such methods as transliteration (transcription), loan translation, descriptive translation are used. An attempt of connection of the way of neologisms formation and their translation is done.)
