Abstract

У статті розглянуто стан досліджень та охарактеризовано потенціал особистих спогадів як джерел для вивчення
досвіду політичних ув’язнень українських жінок у СРСР. Вказується
на
брак
комплексних
досліджень
повсякденного
життя
політв’язнів
та
наголошується
на
необхідності
вивчення
їх
гендерної
специфіки. (This article provides and overview of existing studies and
discusses the potential of personal testimonies as primary sources
in research on Ukrainian women’s experiences of political
imprisonment in the USSR. The author points out to the lack of
complex research of everyday lives of political prisoners and
stresses the necessity to include gender aspects into analysis.)
