Анотація

У статті проаналізовані основні науково-психологічні підходи до вивчення явища емоційного інтелекту за допомогою теоретичного та порівняльного аналізів. Необхідність дослідження основних теоретичних і методологічних аспектів цього поняття зумовлена впливом неоднозначності ролі вказаного явища в навчальній діяльності студентів. Так, аналіз наукової психологічної літератури дає змогу дійти висновку, що емоційний інтелект розглядають як інтегральну властивість, яка виявляється у здатності індивіда до розпізнавання, розуміння та керування емоціями, зокрема, з метою використання емоцій у діяльності та спілкуванні; як здатність людини сприймати та виражати емоції, посилювати мислення з їх допомогою, розуміти емоції та рефлексивно управляти ними таким чином, щоб сприяти емоційному та інтелектуальному зростанню; як здатність до розуміння та осмислення емоцій; як здатність керувати своїми почуттями та позитивно взаємодіяти з іншими людьми; як сукупність ментальних здібностей, пов’язаних з обробкою та перетворенням емоційної інформації. Надбанням є те, що результати аналізу відіграють важливу роль у процесі розуміння зв’язку між аспектами емоційного інтелекту та навчальною успішністю студентів, а також є важливими для подальших досліджень цього явища. Аналіз показав, що різні підходи до вивчення особливостей емоційного інтелекту не суперечать, а доповнюють один одного, уможливлюючи таким чином виокремлення як предмету дослідження наявну різноаспектність цього феномена. Тому на основі наявних концепцій ми запропонували схему функціонування емоційного інтелекту. У статті окреслені перспективи подальших досліджень емоційного інтелекту, що, зокрема, можуть бути зосереджені на вивченні особливостей функціонування емоційного інтелекту у навчальній діяльності студентів, концептуалізації підходів до його операціоналізації, а також теоретико-методологічних та емпіричних засад дослідження емоційного інтелекту у контексті метакогнітивного моніторингу навчальної діяльності студентів.
(The paper analyses the main scientific and psychological approaches to the study of emotional intelligence through theoretical and comparative analysis. The need to study the main theoretical and methodological aspects of this concept is due to the ambiguity of the role of this phenomenon in the learning activities of university students. Thus, the analysis of the scientific psychological literature shows that emotional intelligence is considered as an integral phenomenon, which is manifested in the individual’s ability to recognize, understand and manage emotions, in particular, to use emotions in activities and communication; as a person’s ability to perceive and express emotions, enhance thinking through them, understand emotions and reflexively manage them in such a way as to promote emotional and intellectual growth; as the ability to understand and comprehend emotions; as the ability to control their feelings and interact positively with other people; as a set of mental abilities associated with the processing and transformation of emotional information. Significantly, the results of the analysis play an important role in understanding the relationship between aspects of emotional intelligence and the academic performance of university students and are important for further research into this phenomenon. The analysis showed that different approaches to the study of the features of emotional intelligence do not contradict, but complement each other, thus enabling the separation as a subject of the study of the existing diversity of the phenomenon. As a result, we proposed a scheme for the functioning of emotional intelligence. Moreover, the paper outlines the prospects for further research of emotional intelligence, which, in particular, can be focused on studying the features of emotional intelligence in university students’ learning activities, conceptualization of approaches to its operationalization, as well as theoretical, methodological and empirical principles of emotional intelligence research in the context of metacognitive monitoring of university students’ learning.)
