Abstract
Статтю присвячено обґрунтуванню та систематизації головних наукових підходів сучасної лінгвістики до вивчення фахової мови. У роботі охарактеризовано поняття фахової мови та на прикладі англійської фахової мови геології встановлено співвідношення понять «фахова мова» та «загальнонаціональна мова». (The article is devoted to substantiation and classification of major scientific approaches of modern linguistics to the study of the language for specific purposes. The author characterizes the concept of «the language for specific purposes» and shows the correlation between such concepts as «the language for specific purposes» and «the national language» on the basis of the English language of geology.)
