Abstract

У статті розкрито віхи драматичної долі жінки-само- ука Катерини Білокур. Проаналізовано трагізм К.Білокур як дівчинки, жінки, художниці. Акцентовано на історичних та соціально-культурних обставинах життя мисткині. Підкреслено оригінальність малярства та авторське самовираження художниці. (The present article deals with the dramatic milestones fate of women self-taught Katherine Bilokur. Special attention was paid to the importance of the artist figure in the cultural pantheon of XX century. The tragedy of K.Bilokur as girl, woman artist was analyzed. The attention to historical and socio-cultural aspects of artist’s life was accented. The excerpts from the biography of the artist in the interpretation of a modern writer Zabuzhko have been shown. Originality and copyright of expression painting of artist was highlighted. The interpretation of the phenomenon of «naive artist» have been posted, the conflict K.Bilokur’s personal talents and circumstances of her life was shown. Peasant woman felt like a part of Great Art Space all her life in spite of the difficulties and professional « unlearned» Excerpts from letters K.Bilokur remodel live Ukrainian peasant women of 30-50 years of XX century and simultaneously destroy the Soviet myth of good fortune of artist from the commonalty. Pictures, which were painted by woman who lived in poverty but painted pictures of flourishing collective Ukrainian village were the best advertisement for the Soviet regime. A vital and artistic parallels between Catherine Bilokur and Mexican artist Frida Kahlo was drawn. The two women from different continents is a symbol of creativity, intuition, genius, talent and innate sense of beauty.
