Abstract

У статті йдеться про ідентифікацію перекладачем двох текстів В. Я. Єрошенка – «Washi-no kokoro» («Орлині душі») та «Risouka» («Квітка Досконалості»), написаних японською мовою на поч. ХХ ст. Унаслідок виявлення біблійної основи текстів та проведених досліджень історії становлення освіти сліпих у Великій Британії та Британській Індії із залученням біографічних відомостей про письменника, ці тексти атрибутовано як християнські з підґрунтям у протестантській традиції, близькій до тогочасних баптистів чи методистів («Орлині душі) та в католицизмі («Квітка Досконалості»). (The article deals with the translator’s identification of two texts by V.J. Eroshenko – I. E. “Washi-no kokoro” (“The Eagles’ Souls”) and “Risouka” (“The Flower of Perfection”), written in Japanese at the beginning of the XX century. As a result of the findings to the studies carried on the history of forming the educational process of the blind children in the UK and British India, considering some biographical data about the writer, these texts are attributed to the Christian ones resting upon the Protestant tradition, close to the then Baptism or Methodism in (“The Eagles’ Souls”) and to Catholicism in (“The Flower of Perfection”).)
