Анотація

У статті порушено проблему використання новітніх методів і технологій у процесі навчання
правопису. З метою виявити методичні умови й можливості формування правописної компетентності в
студентів філологічних спеціальностей на різних етапах фахової підготовки авторка аналізує чинні навчальні
підручники, посібники і збірники вправ. У висновковій частині констатовано, що навчання правопису має
переважно теоретико-інформативне та репродуктивно-конструктивне спрямування. Перспектива
досліджень полягає у створенні більш ефективних методик для формування правописної компетентності на
всіх етапах професійної підготовки студентів філологічного фаху.
(Introduction. New approaches, methods, and technologies of spelling have become popular in the context of competence paradigm. They involve the active participation of students and the education of a well-developed personality, who is ready for constant self-improvement.
Purpose. We analyzed the most current educational textbooks, manuals, and exercise collections in order to identify the methodological conditions and possibilities of forming the spelling competence of philologists at different stages of professional preparation.
Methods. The analytical method of educational and methodical literature was used in the
current research.
Results. All the discussed theoretical and practical manuals are oriented towards the traditional study of spelling. The motivational exercises are suggested in the publications of Ivan Yushchuk, Stanislav Karaman, and Olha Karaman. The Spelling Workshop of the Ukrainian
Language by Serhiy Omelchuk [23] represents a more modern approach to the issues of spelling and punctuation norms of the Ukrainian language. The book has been analyzed as a possible variant of updating the traditional system of exercises and tasks.
Originality. The analytical-synthetic and synthetic spelling exercises of productive and
constructive nature prevail in the theoretical-practical and practical manuals, which are aimed at
mastering linguistic knowledge and developing language skills. However, the amount of creative
exercises is much smaller or completely absent in these textbooks.
Conclusion. The analysis showed that the educational process of professional training of
future philologists has a traditional theoretically informative and reproductively constructive
direction. The perspective of this research is the further creation of more effective techniques for
spelling competence at all stages of professional training of philologists.)
