Анотація

Дослідження розкриває життєвий шлях Василя Шеванюка, який у післявоєнний період був головним автором навчальних брошур для співробітників Служби безпеки (далі – СБ) Організації українських націоналістів (далі – ОУН). З’ясовано, що ранній період його життя пройшов на території Вінниччини та Донеччини, а сім’я зазнала переслідувань від радянської влади. Доведено, що Василь Шеванюк приєднався до підпілля ОУН наприкінці березня 1944 р. Досить швидко йому вдалося завоювати авторитет серед керівництва ОУН Станіславщини та Дрогобиччини. Під псевдонімами «Залізний», «Сатурн», а також поштовими адресами «202-Г», «263», «667» він займав високі посади у підпіллі: слідчого з особливо важливих справ при референтурі СБ Крайового проводу «Захід – Карпати» ОУН, референта СБ Дрогобицької округи ОУН, референта СБ Північно-західного крайового проводу «Москва» (Волинська область). Останнє призначення залишилося лише на папері, оскільки Василь Шеванюк не встиг прибути до свого терену: був убитий оперативною групою МДБ.
(The study reveals the life of Vasyl Shevaniuk, who in the postwar period was the main author of training brochures for the Security Service (hereinafter – SB) of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (hereinafter – OUN). It was found that his early life period was spent in Vinnytsia and Donetsk, and his family was persecuted by the Soviet authorities. It was proven that Vasyl Shevaniuk did not serve in the bodies of the People’s Commissariat of Internal Affairs (NKVD), and gained investigative practice in the criminal police under the control of the German invaders. He joined the OUN underground in late March 1944 on the territory of Stanislav region. Vasyl Shevaniuk quickly managed to gain authority among the OUN leadership of Stanislav and Drohobych territories. He held high positions in the underground under the pseudonyms «Zaliznyi», «Saturn», as well as postal addresses «202-G», «263», «667»: the investigator on especially important cases at the reference of the Security Service of the National Command «West-Carpathians» of the OUN, officer of the Security Service of the Drohobych district of the OUN, the officer of the Security Service of the North-Western regional branch «Moskva» (Volyn region). The last appointment remained only on paper, as he did not arrive in place and was killed by the MGB operational group. Vasyl Shevaniuk’s life path rejects the Soviet stereotype that members of the OUN and UPA underground were exclusively natives of Western Ukraine. This testifies that even among the leadership of the SB, the most closed «banderivtsi» body, there were Donetsk region natives. Moreover, they played an important role in its development. Vasyl Shevaniuk’s activity also testifies to the flexibility and efficiency of esbists. It proves their ability to quickly adapt to new conditions and implement new techniques under extremely difficult conditions.)
