Анотація
Метою статті є дослідження теоретичного аспекту впровадження та зміни концепції стійкого розвитку. У статті проаналізовано розвиток концепції стійкого розвитку в ході історії з точки зору зміни назви концепції, сфер, в яких вона застосовується, та актуальних в конкретні періоди проблем. Проаналізовано роботи відомих вітчизняних вчених, виділено підходи до визначення сутності концепції сталого розвитку та визначальні змістові характеристики. Також проаналізовано підходи зарубіжних науковців до трактування поняття «стійкий розвиток». Проаналізовано різницю між підходами вітчизняних та зарубіжних науковців. Сформульовано власне визначення сутності концепції стійкого розвитку на основі досліджених матеріалів та обґрунтовано нові виклики для концепції стійкого розвитку в умовах пандемії COVID-19.
(The purpose of the article is to study the theoretical aspect of implementing and changing the concept of sustainable development, as well as comparing approaches to defining the concept of sustainable development and outlining the main threats to achieving sustainable development goals in terms of the COVID-19 pandemic. The authors analyze the development of the concept of sustainable development in the course of history in terms of changing the name of the concept, the areas in which it is applied, and current issues in specific periods. The dynamics of the concept development from the 18th century to the present day is determined. The concept of "sustainable development" in the classical perception is understood as one that is balanced, rational, i.e. develops within the permitted limits. The works of well-known domestic scientists are analyzed, approaches to determining the essence of the concept of sustainable development and defining semantic characteristics are highlighted. The approaches of foreign scholars to the interpretation of the concept of "sustainable development" are also analyzed. The difference between the approaches of domestic and foreign scientists is analyzed. Despite on all the diversity of approaches to defining the essence of the concept of sustainable development, both foreign and domestic scholars focus on economic growth and meeting the needs of mankind, however, without separation from the environmental and social problems of mankind. The authors have defined the concept of sustainable development from our point of view: the process of achieving a balance between reproduction and use of resources, balance between social, economic and environmental components, which will meet the needs of present and future generations. It is also worth noting the new challenges for the concept of sustainable development in terms of the COVID-19 pandemic. New risks, changes in the economic situation, forced tough actions by governments and other challenges require the concept of sustainable development of new solutions and reconsideration of the objectives of the approved strategy from new perspectives.)
