Abstract

Досліджується питання про здатність збереження своєї ідентичності Церквою під час трансформації її діяльності у секуляризованому середовищі. Знайшла підтвердження теза, що Церква може запозичувати раніше не властиві для неї інструменти діяльності й інтегруватися у суміжні, навіть конкурентні, суспільні сфери. Однак переваги перейнятого не можна відділити від його ж недоліків і Церква стикається з ними. Територіальними рамками дослідження було обрано Німеччину де релігія, порівняно з деякими іншими європейськими країнами, сприймається більш компліментарно.
(The present study examines the Church’s ability to preserve its identity during the transformation of its activities in a secularised environment. The hypothesis that religious institutions can adopt novel instruments and assimilate them into associated social domains, which are sometimes even competitive, has been substantiated. Nevertheless, it is imperative to acknowledge that the advantages of what has been adopted cannot be separated from its disadvantages, and the Church must confront these challenges. The present study has been conducted within the territorial framework of Germany, a country in which religious adherence is perceived to be more complacent than in some other European countries.)
