Анотація

У статті розглядаються деструктивні тренди глобального розвитку та їх вплив на міжнародні відносини. Серед ключових проблем проаналізовано: збройні конфлікти, гібридне протистояння, геополітичне протиборство, виклики, що несуть технологічні зміни. Окреслені в дослідженні чинники суттєво загострюють відносини між країнами, провокуючи посилення напруженості, що несе загрозу міжнародній безпеці та співробітництву.
(International relations, like other areas, are undergoing constant change. The dynamics, scale, and course of transformational processes occurring in the system of international relations necessitate an understanding of the trends of global development that influence it. Along with the constant influence of positive factors of global growth, the effect of destructive trends that are changing international relations is increasingly observed. Studying destructive trends will minimize their negative impact on international relations. Destructive trends in global development are certain negative trends that arise in the development process and affect stability, security, sustainable development, etc. Among the key trends, it is worth highlighting the negative impacts of globalization (increasing global inequality, dependence on certain currencies, excessive concentration of production in certain regions, etc.). Globalization processes can also manifest themselves in the cultural environment, leading to the dominance of certain cultures. Such phenomena are negative in terms of the possibility of loss of identity by individual nations and ethnic groups, which threatens the stability of international relations. Today, we are generally observing an increase in conflict-prone and confrontational tendencies in the system of international relations. This destructive trend in global development is one of the key problems of our time. At the same time, the increase in conflict reinforces other negative trends that also impact international relations: changing the nature of conflicts, increasing the number of asymmetric conflicts, intensifying geopolitical and geoeconomic competition, provoking an arms race, and the significant influence of modern technologies. The balance of power in the global context is changing, geopolitical confrontations are intensifying, and leading participants in the system of international relations are trying to maintain and increase their influence, gain control over important resources, and obtain (in various ways) new territories. In general, the leading trend of modernity is the growth of imbalance in the system of international relations. The continuation of systemic confrontation between the leading actors of international relations, the restructuring of existing ties within subsystems, and the efforts of individual participants in the system to change the configuration of forces. It also rearranges the world order.)
