Анотація

У статі представлено комплекс інтерактивних завдань, спрямованих на розвиток професійної компетентності
майбутнього викладача іноземних мов засобами курсу «Історія англійської мови»; проаналізовано ефективність застосування завдань даного типу під час підготовки спеціаліста у вищій школі.
(The article demonstrates a complex of interactive tasks aimed at developing professional competence of the future foreign language teacher via educational resources of the subject «The History of the English Language».
Interactive approach is based on interaction of all participants of educational process – students, teacher, educational material, which is directed at developing creative thinking and effective communication on the interpersonal basis. The latter is an aim of multifold personal development of a future specialist of the international standard. We believe that achieving such
complex aim is possible in terms of the modular-rating education with its arsenal of interactive ways of work.
Throughout the course we have been using such interactive approaches as performing projects, portfolios, essays; using interactive lectures (partner lecture, lecture-provocation, lecture-discussion); brainstorm, aquarium, educational games (business, role, entertaining games), cooperative education (team learning, jigsaw), discussion.
There have been elaborated a complex of tasks due to three course themes: (1) The Germanic languages – common linguistic features; (2) Old English; (3) Middle English; (4) Early New English.
Evaluating efficacy of implementing such tasks in the course of the History of the English Language there have been found out that they are instrumental in raising the quality of education and improving interpersonal relations and attitude to the subject.)
