Abstract
The paper deals with the different motives on which the witness’s testimony is based on
during the questioning process. Every witness as an individual, has a certain attitude towards
such social event, as a crime. This attitude is mostly reflected in the motivation of giving
testimony. Accordingly, the fact who the witness is, what kind of life and behaviour principles
he/she has, is a matter of essential importance for psychological assessment of testimony
