Анотація

У статті проаналізовано особливості утвердження радянської влади на Поділлі, причини невдачі більшовиків на виборах до сільських і волосних рад у січні 1921 р. та їхнього успіху на виборах до повітових рад, повстання в Ямпільському Могилівському повітах, методи його придушення. Розглянуто стан сільського господарства, промисловості, ремесел і торгівлі в краї. З’ясовано ставлення більшовиків до освіти та культури.
(In this article the author analyses the specific characteristics of the Soviet rule establishment in
region. It notes the small number of bilshovyk organizations, which required the support of kom-
nezams. It clarifies the reasons for the failed bilshovyk elections to the village and volost councils in January 1921, and for their success in the povit councils elections. It explores the causes of upraisings and emphasizes the colonial methods of their supression by force. The article analyses the crisis in agriculture, industry and crafts. It clarifies the link between the prohibition of commodity-money relations in general and of trade in particular, and involvement of local population in smuggling. The article also delves into the attitude of bilshokyks to education and culture.)
