Анотація

Пізнання учнівською молоддю суті української державності розпочинається з бажання пізнавати свій край. Зміст шкільних підручників створює умови для вироблення особистісного ставлення школярів до тих явищ і процесів, які відбувались на території краю протягом конкретних історичних періодів. У статті проаналізовано підручники, які рекомендовано Міністерством освіти або які можуть бути використанні в курсах з історії рідного
краю, про що зазначено у їхніх вступах.
(Knowledge pupils essence of Ukrainian statehood begins with the desire to know their region.
At the time of independence of Ukraine significantly increased interest of the state to education
youth, formed social order to develop efficient technologiesof patriotic education of the younger
generation. One of the form of attraction of children in social problems of his native land is the
study of its history and culture. Since the school study of a region is part of school course on the
history of Ukraine, there is a need to analyze local history books. The content of school textbooks
creates conditions for developing personal attitude of students to the phenomena and processes
taking place in the region during specific historical periods. The article analyzes textbooks recom-
mended by the Ministry of Education, or that may be used in the course of local history, as stated
in their introductions.)
