Анотація

У статті розглядається гендерна чутливість як чинник впливу на функціонування агентивно-професійної номінації жінок в українській мові, в межах якої виділено два напрями – традиційний (з нейтральним та консервативним різновидами) і гендерно чутливий (з поміркованим та радикальним різновидами).
(The article deals with gender sensitivity as a factor of influence on the functioning of the agentive-occupational women terms in the Ukrainian language. It is realized through the principles of political correctness, which acts when the nomination of persons is concerned mainly through elimination of linguistic manifesta-tions of sexism. In terms of gender sensitivity factor action modern language practice is characterized by two main approaches to the feminatives and more widely – to the linguistic representation of sexes in general – by traditional and gender-sensitive, the latter is less common and current scope of its application is very limited. Within the traditional approach a neutral and conservativevarieties can be distinguished. Within the neutral approach the use of feminatives and masculinatives and a coordination of the genus is spontaneous, haphazard (лікарка прийшла, це наша терапевт / терапевтка, у неї висока кваліфікація). The conservative approach is different from the neutral by sequential use for women of names with grammatical male gender, however at its extreme manifestation it uses not logical (лікар прийшла, це наша терапевт, у неї висока кваліфікація) but formal coordination (regarding woman лікар прийшов, це наш терапевт, у нього висока кваліфікація). In gender-sensitive approach two types also can be distinguished – moderate and radical. Under moderate type we understand the consistent use of names for women with grammatical female gender. In genderally uncertain contexts the tendency to avoid grammatical male gender is often present in particular through message restructuring. Radical approach differs from moderate by attempt to consistently use in gender indeterminate contexts of both male and female forms, and at ultraradical approach – only the forms of female gender. The latter is seen in the linguistic writings of gender orientation. Such position is represented, eg., in the classical works of Deborah Cameron («Feminism and linguistic theory») and Mira Ariel («Accessing to noun phrases antecedents»).)
