Анотація

Стаття присвячена характеристиці українських закордонних паспортів періоду Української революції (1917–1923 рр.) за документами архівних і музейних фондів України. Паспорти аналізуються за видами, особливостями зовнішнього вигляду. Автор розглядає процедуру видачі, специфіку функціонування.
(The article is devoted to the presentation of the Ukrainian international passports of the Ukrainian Revolution (1917-1923) based on the documents of archival and museum funds of Ukraine. It has information about emergence and approval of Ukrainian international passport both on the lands of the Ukrainian National Republic (UNR), the Western Ukrainian National Republic and in places of settlement Ukrainian emigrants. Its main task is to show that the Ukrainian international passport of citizens of the UNR was an important attribute of the national identity of Ukrainian citizens both in Ukraine and in emigration. First, the article contains information about introduction of the Ukrainian international passport on the 28th of November 1917 in UNR. After this issue is disclosed in details related to the Ukrainian laws on citizenship, which regulated the matter of state citizenship during 1918-1921. Article also covers various types of Ukrainian international passports: the features of their external and internal appearance, the procedure for their issuance, the specificity of their functioning. It should be noted that the passport of UNR was important source to identify the personality. There are many examples of passports of famous Ukrainian persons are submitted in the article.)
