Анотація
У статті досліджено причини, особливості та наслідки обміну в ніч із 27 на 28 квітня в 1979 р. п’ятьох радянських дисидентів на двох шпигунів, затриманих і засуджених у США.
Значну увагу приділено висвітленню діяльності радянських політв’язнів – Олександра Гінзбурґа, Едуарда Кузнєцова, Марка Димшиця, Георгія Вінса, Валентина Мороза до обміну.
(This article researches the reasons, characteristics and consequences exchange results of five
Soviet dissidents and two Soviet spies who were arrested in the USA, that took place on the night
from 27 to 28 April in 1979. In general this research describes one of the unforeseen stages in the
history of US-Soviet relations. This paper also focuses on the examination of long-term negotiations,
in which officials from both sides often debated several issues. The first question to which
officials could not give a clear response it’s a place where to be exchanged. Other – equally importantly,
whom of dissident Soviet authorities are ready to release. The considerable attention is paid
to the activity of political prisoners: Alexander Ginzburg, Edward Kuznetsov, Mark Dymshits,
George Vince, Valentine Moroz – before and after.)
