Abstract

Статтю присвячено функціональним особливостям метафор у мові сучасних американських публіцистич­них текстів. Особлива увага приділена концептуальній метафорі як інструменту пізнання дійсності. (The article is devoted to functional peculiarities of metaphors in modern American journalistic texts. Special attention is paid to conceptual metaphor as an instrument of cognition.)
