Abstract

У статті розглянуто основні міжнародні конфлікти, які вплинули на стан політичних відносин між Великою Британією та Російською Федерацією. Визначено російсько-чеченський конфлікт, війну в Іраку, врегулювання статусу Косово, абхазько-осетинський конфлікт та анексію Росією Автономної Республіки Крим як основні деструктивні фактори впливу та ключові причини припинення міждержавного політичного діалогу. Здійснено спробу висвітлити неспівпадіння поглядів Великої Британії та Російської Федерації щодо шляхів та планів врегулювання вищезазначених конфліктів, пошук консенсусів, намагання узгодити позиції британських та російських дипломатів. Охарактеризовано фактичне припинення міждержавного політичного діалогу.
(The article deals with the major international conflicts that have affected the political relations between the United Kingdom and the Russian Federation. The war, the settlement of the status of Kosovo, the Abkhaz-Ossetian conflict, and Russia’s annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea are identified as the main destructive factors of influence and key reasons for the interruption of interstate political dialogue. An attempt has been made to highlight the differences of opinions between the United Kingdom and regarding the ways and plans of the management of the above-mentioned conflicts, the search for consensus, the attempt to reconcile the positions of British and Russian diplomats. The actual termination of interstatepolitical dialogue is characterized.)
