Анотація

У статті розглянуто одну з найважливіших тем у творчості Г. Мюллер – процес втрати людиною своєїіндивідуальності, перетворення особистості на істоту з тваринними інстинктами в умовах терору й диктатури табірного життя. Зроблено спробу розглянути зазначену проблематику у світлі стилістичних осо-
бливостей твору.
(The article deals with one of the most significant issues of H. Muller’s fiction – loss of individuality, its levelling, the metamorphosis of the personality into a creature with dark instincts under the conditions of camp terror and dictatorship.
An attempt has been made to regard the abovementioned issues in the light of semantic and stylistic peculiarities of novel.)
