Анотація
У статті осмислена християнська перцепція києворуських богів крізь призму літературних пам′яток Київської Русі. Досліджено теїстичні уявлення києворуської людності на підставі докладного аналізу змісту найбільш показових персонажів язичницького пантеону богів, а також уявлень про духів та, відповідно, демонологію. Основний акцент зроблено на світоглядному аспекті проблеми, у якому синкретизм язичництва та християнства розглядається як особливий феномен.
(This article is devoted to understanding the Christian perception of Kyiv Rus gods through the prism of Kievan
Rus’ literary monuments. In this work the theistic idea of Kyiv Rus population is analysed on the basis of the most
representative characters of gods and spirits in pagan pantheon, and, respectively, demonology. The main emphasis is focused on the ideological aspect of the problem, which addresses syncretism of paganism and Christianity as a special phenomenon.
In terms of the dominance of Christian values in Ukrainian religious life there is an urgent attempt to overcome the
widespread negative trend in relation to the issue of pre-Christian past. Balanced analytical approach to the problem of pre-Christian beliefs and ideas of ancient Ukrainian demands the meaningful interpretation of the phenomenon of old Slavic paganism and understanding its rich religious values specific cultural tradition, which significantly affected the functioning of Christianity in Ukraine – Rus.
In addition, it should be noted that the characteristics of ideological orientations ancient scribes, their views on the
process of Christianization and use them unconscious beliefs relic, were not studied in detail. Reconstruction of preChristian ideas took place mainly on the basis of Volodymyr pantheon in early tenth century. Theologians tries to move away from traditionalism in the scientific approaches to the study of this period in the history and culture of Ukrainian raised questions about specific complex of interdisciplinary research in pre-Christian Slavic world literary monument.
Elaborating of the problems in religious studies of «legendary period» in Kyiv Rus, creative re-revision of Kyiv Rus literature, use of modern scientific methods to interpret the pre-Christian beliefs in literary monument opens new perspectives for further research, reconstruction of main points in the last Eastern Slavs and determine the relevance of the proposed research.

pre-Christian beliefs in the literary of Kievan Rus XI-XIII centuries.)
