Анотація
Стаття присвячена аналізу утворення й використання арготичних виразів, що започатковуються в СМС-
меседжах. Об’єктом дослідження є лексичні особливості СМС-повідомлень у французькій та англійській мовах, які
розглядаються в порівнянні структурних та семантичних особливостей арготичних одиниць. Особлива увага при-
діляється усіченим лексичним формам молодіжного арго. Систематизація словотворчих моделей та їх порівняння
дає нам право говорити про те, що арготична лексика має в своїй структурі емоційний та оцінний компоненти,
які роблять ці мовні одиниці яскравим способом вираження суб’єктивного ставлення молоді до сучасної дійсності.
(This article is devoted to the research of argo use and forming in the French and English SMS-messages. The object of the study is the lexical features of SMS-messages in the compared languages, which are discussed in terms of their structural and semantic peculiarities. Special attention is given to the clipped forms of the youth argot. The systematization of word-forming
models and their comparison give us the right to think that argot has emotional and evaluative components in its structure that make such linguistic units rather striking to express the subjective attitude of young people to the modern reality. All the clipped forms that are used in the virtual communication (in sms-messages, chats, blogs etc.) can be divided into two main groups: lexical and graphical ones. This division proves the generally accepted classification. The core role in the development of the young people’s language belongs to the tendency to be laconic and true-to-fact but at the same time expressive and unique. That’s why the number of the clipped forms in the virtual youth communication is continuously growing. More than that, having originated in the world wide web, these words begin to penetrate into everyday French and English. Studying the lexicon of modern French and English youth social dialect seems to be perspective for forecasting the process of the French and English languages’ enrichment, as far as within this process the transition of different social language
units from one vocabulary rank into another takes place.)
