Анотація
У статті представлено порівняльну характеристику моделей монофункціональних та поліфункціональних спонукальних конструкцій в українській та англійській мовах, а також визначено, які комунікативно-прагматичні типи
мовленнєвих актів існують в англійській та українській мовах. Особлива увага приділена недостатньо дослідженим,
поліфункціональним засобам вираження спонукання (спонукальним конструкціям із перформативними і модальними дієсловами, дієсловами у формі дійсного, умовного способу та конструкціям з неособовими формами дієслова).
(The article deals with the comparative characteristic of models of monofunctional and polyfunctional imperative constructions in Ukrainian and English. One also have defined what kinds of communicative and pragmatic types of speech acts appear in English and Ukrainian. The problem of the ways of expressing inducement in the contrasted languages has been outlined. The main function of the first type consists in expressing of inducement. Incentive constructions with modal verbs,
verbs in the indicative and subjunctive moods, and constructions with non-finite forms of the verbs represent the polyfunctional constructions. Expressing inducement is not the only function for the above-mentioned constructions. Another important
result of investigation concerns the contrastive analysis of the incentive speech acts (directive and menacive). Special attention has been paid to the analysis of incentive constructions from the point of view of the doer of the action.
There has been provided a detailed description of the ways of expressing these acts in English and Ukrainian. It has been found out that incentive speech acts are expressed not only with the help of imperative sentences, the most universal and specialized way of expressing inducement, but also by means of non-imperative and interrogative sentences.)
