Анотація
Стаття присвячена проблемі диференціації фразеологічних одиниць і їх відмінності від вільних словосполучень
та слів на прикладі фразеологізмів мови гінді. Розглянуто також характерні особливості фразеологічних одиниць.
(The article deals with the problem of differentiation idioms and their differences to free phrases and words with examples of phraseological units in Hindi. The characteristics of idioms are considered. The issue of the article is differentiation of a phraseological unit as a complex entity. Theoretical research in phraseology demonstrates that a phraseological unit is more
complicated entity than a word or phrase. The characteristic features of a phraseological unit are its reproducibility, integrity and indivisibility. In modern literary Hindi there are many fixed word combinations and their semantics is not based on the meaning of words, their components. Word combinations are considered as the basis for the formation of idioms, as only some
of these combinations that differ lexical indivisibility, can be phraseological units. The conclusion has been drawn that all the phrases can be divided into normal, which are not related to phraseology and indivisible lexical – phraseological units.
Phraseological units should be distinguished from lexical, syntactically indivisible phrases.)
