Анотація
Стаття присвячена аналізу засобів, що вербалізують ідеологічну опозицію «ми» – «вони» у дискурсі російської
інформаційної агенції Russia Today. Основна увага присвячена аналізу вербалізації концептів США, Сполученого Королівства, України та Росії та утворенню загального сценарію презентації подій в Україні. Описано структуру сайту та згадано екстравербальні засоби, оскільки вони теж відіграють значну роль.
(The article analyses the means of verbalizing basic ideological opposition «we» – «they» as represented on the site of Russia-funded information agency Russia Today. The method of analysis is critical discourse-analysis developed by N. Fairclough. The analysis suggests that the basic opposition is represented by the USA, the UK and Ukraine on the one side, and the RF and Eastern Ukrainian militia on the other side. Verbal and also extraverbal means are employed in order to
influence the formation of the concepts of the above mentioned states in the mental sphere of readers, which correspond with the policies of the Russian authorities. Based on these concepts, general scenarios are developed, so that they easily include news facts. The formation of concepts includes the use of linguistic means, the manipulation with information, thematic organization of the information, multisensory accompaniment of the given texts, and invoking presuppositions and appeal to
stereotypes by way on intertextual references. The main themes relating to each of the mentioned countries are analyzed, and examples of other techniques, employed by the journalists of Russia Today, are provided.)
