Комунікативно-прагматичні особливості німецькомовного лаудативного дискурсу. Галицька О. Б. У статті
розглянуто передусім комунікативно-прагматичні функції, які лаудація виконує в німецькому лаудативному дискурсі. Описано жанрові варіації лаудативного дискурсу з аналізом особливостей висловлення лаудації у німецькій
лінгвокультурі. Проаналізовано засоби вербальної репрезентації лаудації в німецькомовному лаудативному дискурсі.
(Communicative-pragmatic peculiarities of German language laudatory discourse. Halytska O. B. The article deals, first of all, with the communicative-pragmatic peculiarities of modern German language laudatory discourse. Laudatory discourse is defined as a communicative event where key speaker’s is intention to express laudation. Laudation is also exerted verbally
in the sense that it can be used to change social relations and subject positions. Laudation proves to be a means of expressing evaluating positive attitude to the environment. Laudatory discourse sometimes entails processes of mutual address and response, with all participants taking the role of both speakers and listeners, and becoming both emotionally involved to the
point of engaging. In this article we explore how participants come to «feel socially organized unit» through the laudatory speech of jubilee and marriage ceremonies. The speakers have «positive face», the consistency of self-image and the desire
that this self-image be respected and approved. Laudatory discourse must be seen as a frame for participation and interaction.
This paper also examines the specific functions laudation may perform in the German laudatory discourse. Speech genres of German laudatory discourse are distinguished with regard of the communicative purpose and include jubilee speech and the best man’s speech as the prototype genres of this discourse. The article examines the linguistic (stylistic, lexical, syntactic,
morphological) means of expressing laudation in modern German language laudatory discourse. Ways of verbalizing communicative strategies and tactics of modern German language laudatory discourse are highlighted. The pragmatic power of performative utterances was located in words themselves, and by itself considered sufficient to create or change social reality (e.g. a marriage). German laudatory discourse has been proved to reveal cultural, social peculiarities.)
