Анотація
Статтю присвячено встановленню та опису фоностилістичних характеристик публічних виступів німецьких політичних діячів. На основі слухового та акустичного аналізів вивчено закономірності ритмічної організації промов сучасних політичних діячів Німеччини та виявлено просодичні засоби, які дозволяють мовцеві не лише ефективно донести до чисельної аудиторії основну інформацію повідомлення, але й дають змогу ораторові здійснювати значний вплив на слухачів.
(This article is devoted to identifying and describing the phonostylistic characteristics of the public speeches of the modern German politicians. With the help of the auditory and acoustic analysis the regularities of the rhythmic organization of the speech, as well as the invariant and variant features of the rhythm of the political speech have been established. The results of the experimental phonetic studies allow us to state, that a specific rhythmical organization is one of the most important
phonostylistic characteristics of the political speech.
According to the study the rhythm of the public speech is a result of the complex interaction of all prosodic means –
melodic, temporal, dynamic changes and specific speech articulation. The political speech is characterized by the alternation of the rhythmic and non rhythmic fragments. The speaker changes the rhythm of expression, especially on significant passages of the speech,that draws the audience attention to the important information in the message. In addition, variability of the
rhythm allows the speaker to avoid the monotony and gives to the performance features of natural speech, that influences the audience more effectively.
This study shows, that the rhythm of the speeches of modern German politicians may vary depending on the semantic and
pragmatic of a speech passage. Thus, background information is reported by the speaker neutral, with no sudden changes
of prosodic parameters. While for the most important parts of speech the broken, rapid rhythm is inherent, that draws the audience’s attention to the important terms of the message.)
