Анотація
У статті розглядаються особливості еволюції лінгвокультурного концепту LOVE. Англомовні версії Біблії різних епох дають можливість простежити причини, механізми, способи вербалізації досліджуваного концепту, який трансформується в умовах модифікації біблійного дискурсу та соціо-культурно-історичних змін. Лексико-семантичні варіації та субституції вербалізаторів дозволяють розкрити специфіку еволюції концепту LOVE у Біблії під впливом мовних та позамовних чинників.
(The article describes the evolutional peculiarities of the linguocultural concept LOVE which is modified in the terms of the Biblical discourse transformation. The English Bible texts of different periods allow identifying the reasons, mechanisms and ways of the concept LOVE verbalization through the aspect of linguistic factors of language development. On the basis of lexicographical
sources, the author analyses the dynamics of semantic interpretation of the positive emotional concept LOVE. The focus is on the substitutions of lexical components through the linguocultural prism. Lexical and semantic substitutions permit revealing national and cultural specificity of the analyzed concept LOVE considering both linguistic and extralinguistic factors. These substitutions reflect
the evolution of a human being along with the historical development of national society. The author investigates linguistic factors requiring the changes in the later versions of the Bible among which the evolution of the meaning prevails. Modernization and simplification
of the textual content, «sexual revolution» in the modern society and the tendency towards the reduction of emotional expressiveness are the basic extralingiustic factors which also demand a range of substitutions in the Holy texts. The research features the considered concept LOVE in the Biblical discourse as an evolutionary product adjusted to the models of the given time periods.)
