Анотація
У статті йдеться про зв’язок мови й навколишнього світу на прикладі номінативного поля «батьківство» в сучасній англійській мові. Описано фразовий фрейм, зокрема граматичну сполучуваність домінантної лексичної одиниці цього концепту − слова father. У масиві моделей граматичного зв’язку виділено ядро, приядерну зону та периферію.
Здійснено тематичну класифікацію паремій (приказок, прислів’їв, поговірок), до складу яких входить слово father.
(The article deals with the problem of the connection between the language and the outer world. As an example, the
phrasal frame of the nominative field of the concept «fatherhood» has been analyzed. The nominative field includes free word combinations, phraseological units, proverbs, sayings and quotations which contain the word father. Grammatical combinability of the lexical unit father, which is the dominant in the nominative field under the analysis, has been described in terms of models, in which special symbols represent certain parts of speech. In the set of established models the kernel and the periphery have been defined.)
