Анотація

Стаття присвячена проблемі інтерпретації айдзуці, розглядаються типові ситуації вживання айдзуці у діалозі
між співрозмовниками-носіями японської мови, порівнюються основні засади ввічливого діалогу в японській та єв-
ропейській культурі, надається класифікація айдзуці за типами комунікативних ситуацій та інтерпретація явища айдзуці у контексті японської культури омоіярі.
(The article deals with study aizuchi in daily conversation of native Japanese speakers. The purpose of the present article is to investigate similarities and differences in the listening behaviors in Japanese and Western culture, focusing on the production of aizuchi. The term aizuchi is defined as a short verbal utterance that is produced in response to the primary speaker’s speech in Japanese. The article considers typical situations of use aizuchi in the dialogue between the interlocutors who are
native Japanese speakers and compares the basic principles of respectful dialogue in the Japanese and Western culture. The functions of aizuchi were categorized into four groups, and communicative situation of each was analyzed, focusing on issue of the trigger-words. In the broad socio-linguistic context aizuchi it is one of the Japanese patterns of behavior which is connected with more complicated pattern of world view point, focusing on the idea of the highest value of empathy in social interaction. Thus, aizuchi can be put in the context of omoiyari in Japanese culture.
As long as speaker use aizuchi in conversation, he (or she) is the part of common social agreement about value of idea
not to hurt feelings of another person and it shows belongingness to the same group. That`s why we have pay attention to this «little» but so important words.)
