Abstract
У статті проаналізовано лексичні засоби на позначення малих відрізків часу в романі Г. Гарсіа Маркеса “Сто років самотності”. Виділені одиниці мови, пов’язані із семою малої тривалості, охарактеризовано в контексті їхньої уживаності в оригінальному творі порівняно з даними, наведеними в частотному словнику, після чого порівнюються підходи, використані під час їх відтворення англійською та російською мовами.
(The article deals with lexical means used to denominate small segments of time in the novel “One Hundred Years of Solitude” by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Selected language units, correlating with the same of short duration, are analyzed in terms of their occurrence in the source text compared with that in the frequency dictionary, and then the approaches used while rendering them into English and Russian are analized.)
