Анотація
У статті представлено методику проведення гендерного аналізу, інтегрованого до перекладацького аналізу тексту, що є адоптованою для роботи з текстами юридичної тематики. У якості таких текстів автор використовує
матеріали допитів М. Левінські та О. Пісторіуса, що є не тільки показовим ілюстративним матеріалом для навчання гендерному аналізу, але й цікавим пізнавальним ресурсом для майбутніх юристів-міжнародників. Користуючись такою методикою, студенти юридичних спеціальностей адекватно перекладають юридичний дискурс на підставі
аналізу наявності «чоловічих»/ «жіночих» гендерних маркерів: «гіперправильність» граматичних форм, «суперввічливість», використання вставних слів, емфатичних елементів, «порожніх» прикметників і прислівників, прямих цитат, різноманітних форм вираження сумніву, димінутативів і прикметників на позначення відтінків кольорів.
(The article represents the method of gender analysis, adopted for legal texts, illustrated by materials of questioning M. Lewinsky and O. Pistorius. The suggested texts are not only the basis for teaching students how to perform gender analysis but also are interesting educational resource for future specialists in the sphere of international law. Following the method
algorithm, it is possible to translate the legal discourse adequately due to analyzing the availability of «male/female» gender markers: super-polite forms of expression; hypercorrect grammar; the use of «hedges» or parenthesis; the use of emphatic so or very; the usage of «empty» adjectives or adverbs; direct quotations the use of diminutive forms or specialized color
terms. Moreover, the author suggests performing the gender analysis for the purpose of enabling future international lawyers to make conclusions as for trial figurants being deceptive on the basis of their non-typical speech behavior: the availability of «female» markers alongside with the presence of «male» markers in O. Pistorius’s testimony at the background of typical
speech behavior of M. Lewinsky, characterized by exclusively «female» gender markers.)
