Анотація

У статті розкривається суть мовних компетентностей, їх класифікація. Тому як в сучасному світі актуальними є дослідження теоретичних засад поняття компетентності як здатності кваліфіковано виконувати професійну діяльність, що містить набір знань, навичок і ставлень та дає змогу особистості ефективно діяти або виконувати певні функції, спрямовані на досягнення стандартів у професійній галузі або певній діяльності і мовної компетентності як системи комунікативних умінь, навичок та установок, реалізація яких і є передумовою успішного комунікативного процесу.
(The article reveals the essence of language competences, their classification. Since, in today’s world it is important to study the theoretical foundations of the notion of competence as an ability to perform professional activity that contains a set of knowledge, skills and attitudes and enables an individual to act effectively or perform certain functions aimed at achieving standards in the professional sector or certain activities and linguistic competences as a system of communicative skills, abilities and attitudes, implementation of which is a prerequisite for a successful communicative process. Problems of formation and development of language competences are connected with the most important cultural and national issues, since they affect not only linguistic but also the whole spiritual being of people. Because of this, the process of developing knowledge of language and speech, their mastery is of particular importance, it is significantly updated in the school environment, where language learning is not only an integral part of the educational program, but also an indispensable condition for the successful aquisition of knowledge on all other subjects, intellectual development, moral and aesthetic education of students. Acquiring linguistic and speech competences is more often qualified by methodologists as the main task of language education in secondary educational institutions. «The functional and communicative method of teaching is the main method that helps to master the language as a means of communication on the basis of the practical use of linguistic material, the expansion and deepening of students’ cognitive abilities,» «because it implies the appropriate use of the language being studied, the choice of techniques, methods of the material presentation and content».)
