Анотація

Стаття присвячена дослідженню тактильної поведінки персонажа у номінативному просторі англомовного художнього дискурсу із позиції модулярного підходу. Робиться спроба виокремити та охарактеризувати основні типи такесичних модулів за рядом релевантних ознак – номінативної, локативної, функціональної та модусної.
(The article deals with the study of character’s touch behavior in the contemporary English language fictional discourse from the modular perspective. It introduces the notion of the «tacesic module» as a structural unit employed in the modular analysis of the character’s touch behavior. It also focuses on the main properties of tacesic modules, i.e. their nominative, local and functional features. Such relevant properties being considered, the article presents the classification of tacesic modules including their basic types. According to the nominative criterion, tacesic modules are classified into mononominative (containing one denomination of touch) and multinomanative (containing more than one denominations of touch) types. The initial, medial and final types of tacesic modules are distinguished on the basis of the criterion of their location in relation to verbal modules. The functional types of tacesic modules include complementary, oppositive and substitutional ones, which are complementing, opposing to, and substituting for verbal modules correspondently. The active, passive and reciprocal types of tacesic modules are distinguished according to the existing modes of touch realization. The active tacesic module being of subjective, dynamic and controlling nature is opposed to the passive tacesic module with its objective, inactive and non-controlling nature. The reciprocal tacesic module reflects the interactive character of touch.)
