Анотація

Стаття становить лінгвальний та соціолінгвальний аналіз інновацій у військовій справі як відбиття процесу поповнення сучасної англійської мови у цій сфері. В даній статті розглядаються сучасні види технічних засобів, вплив новітніх технологій на збагачення військового вокабуляру. З’ясовано поняття тематичної групи та виокремлені дані групи, що позначають військову техніку в англійській мові. Розроблена класифікація військової техніки за тематичними групами. Виявлено основні шляхи формування лексичних одиниць на позначення військової техніки в сучасній англійській мові.
(This article deals with lingual and sociolingual analysis of military innovations as a process refilling of modern English vocabulary. The replenishment focuses on modern technical equipment, on influence of new technology in enriching English military vocabulary. The author outlines the concept of thematic groups and singles out the corresponding thematic groups of military technology in English. The thematic group is a collection of words, which are united on the basis of extra-ordinary community of objects or concepts that they denote. The thematic group includes the unification of vocabulary and phraseology, which belongs to one part of the language. It based on the classification of the objects or phenomena of the outside world. The subject-logical connection between the labeled words and objects of reality is reflected in the paradigmatic relations between the components this group. Military lexical innovations of technology have been divided into two groups: 1) weapons; 2) technical equipment. The research shows that principal way of formation new military vocabulary is abbreviation. The set-expressions are formed by metaphor, metonymy and euphemism. The analogy possesses an essential role of creation the set-expression of military technical equipment.)
